I’m Kristin Walker- an artist & maker, nature lover, and seeker of wonders made and found.

Art supplies, books, and storage boxes on a wooden hutch and tabletop in an art studio, with paintings on the wall and art materials organized on shelves.

My art practice is constantly changing and evolving depending on what is inspiring me at any given time.

I love to learn new techniques and experiment with different mediums - anything from collage to hand carved stamps and everything in between- so you really never know what to expect out of my studio. I find joy in the process of creating, and often begin without a plan, allowing my intuition and play to lead the way. Creating has become a vital practice for me, a way to quiet my overactive mind and to process and express my emotions. Beyond the joy creativity brings to my own life, I hope my art serves as a way for me to connect with others in a deep and meaningful way. I am passionate about inspiring creativity in others and believe everyone is capable of making something they are proud of.

Aside from art and creativity, I value a slow approach to living and infuse those philosophies into my creative practice as well. When I’m not in the studio, you can find me hanging around the house with my husband, Brian, and our 3 kids. I love to read (let’s talk about books!), write (check out my blog), watch birds from my porch or on a long walk, and peruse second hand shops for new treasures.

Creativity is an exploration of life. It’s an opportunity to play, to grow, and to connect with yourself wholeheartedly. A creative practice is vital to lead a full and vibrant life.
